China News Service, Guangzhou, March 6 (Reporter Guo Jun) China Southern Airlines (hereinafter referred to as "China Southern") announced on the 6th that it plans to launch a new direct round-trip route from Beijing Daxing to Singapore on March 7.

This route is China Southern Airlines’ first direct international route from Beijing Daxing to Southeast Asia. It will operate three times a week initially and will reach one daily flight in the summer and autumn seasons of 2024.

  Singapore is a multicultural immigrant country and is known as one of the "Four Asian Tigers". It is an important entrepot in the world and an aviation center connecting Asia, Europe, Africa and Oceania. It has Sentosa Island, botanical gardens, night zoo, etc. Rich in tourism resources, Singapore will officially implement a "visa-free entry" policy for Chinese tourists starting from February 9, 2024.

  It is understood that China Southern Airlines’ direct round-trip route from Beijing Daxing to Singapore is planned to be operated by Airbus A321 aircraft. The flight will be carried out every Thursday, Saturday and Sunday in the initial period.

The outbound flight CZ8041 takes off from Beijing Daxing International Airport at 02:30 and arrives at Singapore Changi International Airport at 09:00; the return flight CZ8042 takes off from Singapore Changi International Airport at 10:25 and arrives at Beijing Daxing International Airport at 16:30. The journey is about 6 Hour.

It can be connected to 20 major domestic and foreign cities such as Seoul, Dalian, Shenyang, Changchun, and Harbin.

  Currently, China Southern Airlines operates a total of 3 international routes in Singapore, namely Guangzhou to Singapore, Shenzhen to Singapore and Chongqing to Singapore, with a total of 42 flights per week.

After the Beijing Daxing-Singapore route is opened, China Southern Airlines' weekly flights to and from Singapore will reach 45, and China Southern Airlines' international navigation points from Beijing Daxing will increase to 13, covering Europe, East Asia, Southeast Asia, Central and Western Asia and other countries and regions.

  The new flight season will officially start on March 31. China Southern Airlines will continue to increase its capacity on international and regional routes and open and resume more international and regional routes.
