The State Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) has warned of fraud attempts by some, by sending messages from sites similar to the official sites.

The authority stated that this method is one of the electronic fraud methods that target individuals, in an effort to rob people ’money, by accessing their bank and private data.

The "Telecommunications Regulatory Authority" confirmed the authenticity of the video that was circulated during the past two days, and includes the presence of fraud attempts by some, by sending sites that resemble the official sites to trap users in the fraud trap.

The authority stated that it is working in cooperation with service providers to ban suspicious links as soon as they are reported to protect users from them, calling on the community not to interact with such links in messages and report them to the police authorities.

The Abu Dhabi Digital Authority warned, the day before yesterday, of the fake website of Abu Dhabi Police, which targets users, asking to enter credit card data to pay 3000 dirhams, to avoid disrupting the victim's computer, otherwise the case will be transferred to the police.
