Etihad Aviation Group has confirmed that it has not required its employees to provide unpaid leave as has been reported in the past days

A spokesman for Etihad Airways explained that due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus, Etihad suggested that the air hospitality crew members reconsider the presentation of their paid leave to be used during the month of April instead of using it later this year.

The spokesman pointed out that the recently imposed global restrictions on travel and the change in dates of different events and activities have an impact on the plans of travelers, forcing them to cancel or postpone their travel plans or to postpone their flight reservations.

The spokesman pointed out that these changes led to the company reorganizing its resources to contain the current changes.
