Maeil Broadcasting and MBN lost in the first trial of an administrative lawsuit filed by the Korea Communications Commission for a six-month suspension of business in 2020.

The 2nd administrative division of the Seoul Administrative Court opened the sentencing date of the lawsuit against the cancellation of the disposition such as the suspension of business issued by MBN against the Korea Communications Commission at 2 pm today (3rd) and ruled that the plaintiff lost.

In October 2020, the Korea Communications Commission decided to suspend business for six months on the grounds that MBN violated the Broadcasting Act by illegally applying capital.

However, in order to minimize the damage to our partners, the disposition was postponed for six months.

MBN was dissatisfied with the decision of the Korea Communications Commission, and filed a cancellation suit, and received a decision to suspend the effect of the decision of the Korea Communications Commission for 30 days after the judgment of the first trial.
