On the night of the accident, it is said that 'someone started pushing' or 'people gathered at once to see a celebrity'.

The police are also focusing on reconstructing the situation at the time to determine the cause of the accident, and a reporter is out at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, where the investigation headquarters is set up.

Reporter Ha-jeong Park, the police are checking the various statements that have been made before, right?

Yes, when asked if there were any such suspicions, the police replied, 'We are looking broadly.'

The police said that they have obtained 52 CCTVs installed in 42 nearby locations and are also analyzing videos posted on social media.

If you look at the video that was filmed before the accident and also reported to us, you can see that people suddenly stumble several times in an alleyway that was full of people but had some traffic.

It looks like something has been pushed.

Survivors and eyewitnesses who were present at the scene are claiming that some men in specific costumes or some foreign men actually pushed people while saying "push".

The police have so far investigated 44 people, including store employees and injured people, and it was confirmed that they stated that they heard some shouting "push".

Police say they will keep all possibilities open and conduct eyewitness investigations and video analysis.

Yes, from around 2pm today, the police and the National Forensic Service have begun joint investigations at the accident site.

I checked the scene of the accident for about two hours, scanning the alley from the top to the bottom.

In order to analyze the density and risk at the time of the accident, a 3D scanner was used to accurately photograph and measure the scene.

One of the places I focused on was around the entrance of a store in an alleyway that went down to the second basement level.

In the investigation of witnesses and injured persons, it is said that a woman fell in front of the store and that it was too noisy even when people shouted not to push, so she kept pushing and falling from behind.

The time when it was confirmed that the alley was full of people walking in both directions was 10:11 p.m. on the day of the accident, and it was 10:17 p.m. when a crowd was pushed into a nearby store and fell.
