"Because I was a half-time student, I was impatient because I didn't have more time than other students. So I thought that I should solve at least one problem centered on the previous questions."

Kim Seon-woo (19), who received a perfect score in all subjects in this year's 2022 University Scholastic Ability Test (SAT), which is evaluated as 'impossible', met with reporters at the Megastudy headquarters in Seocho-gu today (10th) and talked about the secret to getting a perfect score: said.

Kim is the only one in the country to get a perfect score in all subjects on the SAT score report distributed today.

After graduating from Dongtan International High School, Mr. Kim entered Korea University's public administration department through a random screening in the 2021 college entrance exam.

In the first semester, he was living in college, but he started preparing for the entrance exam in earnest in June, so he felt very impatient.

Kim said, "I didn't have time to solve many problems, but rather than solving a lot of problems, I thought to solve one problem."

He added, "I thought it would be difficult to re-study on my own because I didn't know the schedule.

During the exam period, I woke up at 6:30 in the morning and went to bed at 12:30 every morning. Just like in school, I studied for 50 minutes and then took a 10-minute break.

Mr. Kim said, "I studied mainly the previous questions, especially in the case of the Korean language, rather than simply solving the problems, I understand the text deeply and understand how the questions will be asked when this passage comes out again, and what the writer wants to say. I studied while understanding it,” he said.

It is said that the exam was difficult on the day of the entrance exam, but he was able not to panic because of the skills and 'mental' cultivated in this life of the exam.

“In the first period of Korean language class, I took the optional subjects, language and medium, first, followed by literature and reading, but I was embarrassed because literature was more difficult than I expected.” I came in with this mindset that it must be the 'SAT,'" he said.

He added, "If there was a problem that could not be solved even in mathematics, I moved on to another part and came back."

When I heard that this year's SAT was the only one with perfect scores in all subjects, I laughed, saying, "I was happy and embarrassed."

Mr. Kim said, "After the test on the day of the entrance exam, I took a false score, but I was a little surprised because there was nothing wrong, and I was proud that my hard work was not in vain." said

Mr. Kim is planning to apply for the Seoul National University Business Administration Department through the on-time screening.

When I was in college for the first time, I said that it was very regrettable that I could not attend face-to-face classes due to the impact of COVID-19.

After graduation, he also expressed his ambition to work in a government department.

Mr. Kim laughed, saying, "I'm really looking forward to the face-to-face class." "I want to sit in the classroom and communicate with classmates and professors."
