"Pudding" has been involved as material manager during eight of Tre Kronor's eleven World Cup golds.

Tonight he became the 133rd person inducted into the Sweden Hockey Hall of Fame.

He was extremely surprised when the ceremony started.

- It was a huge surprise.

So I didn't have time to think much.

I had no idea about this until I was standing in the booth a minute before.

I thought I was going to hand out a prize to some materialist, some local guy or something, he says.

The 69-year-old talks about the feelings when it dawned on him that he would join Swedish ice hockey's greatest in the Hall of Fame.

- It's not that often I get asked, I like to keep track of things, but I couldn't have that now.

It's quite an honor.

I have had a job that is the most fun I know, he says and continues:

- We are quite far down in the hierarchy, but I think it's fun that all the guilds are getting attention for what they do.

Everyone is important.

There were over 1,000 international matches for "Pudding", who retired in 2019. He still hasn't given up work completely, but at the ongoing EHT tournament in Malmö, he has been involved and helped around the national team.

- I have survived many national team captains, so maybe I have done something good.

I have tried to be one of the gang and treat everyone well.

Those of us who work as service guys can lighten the mood and fool around a bit.

I have offered coffee and mazarin.

Plus I have done a professional job, I hope, he says.
