On the 3rd day of the 6th day of the tournament, the Japan Curling Championships reached the final day of the qualifying league for both men and women, and in the men's event, the local Kitami Association defeated SC Karuizawa Club in the final stage and won 7-5. I decided to pass the rank.

At the Japan Curling Championships held in Kitami, Hokkaido, nine men's and women's teams compete in round-robin qualifying leagues, with the top four teams advancing to the playoffs on the 4th.

A total of 12 matches were played on the 3rd, the last day of the qualifying league, for men and women. Of these, the men's team represented the Hokkaido block. The undefeated SC Karuizawa club played against each other.

In the fifth end, where the match was tied 2-2, Kitami Kyokai scored two goals by hitting the opponent's stones with accurate shots.

After that, SC Karuizawa club took 1 point each in 3 ends in a row, but in the 9th end, Kosuke Hirata, skipping the Kitami Association, kept the opponent's stone away from the center of the circle with the last shot, which was exquisite. I took 2 points in control and re-reversed.

In the final, the 10th end, they added one point despite the disadvantageous lead, and the Kitami Association won the powerhouse confrontation with a score of 7 to 5.

After the match, skipper Hirata said, "We're only aiming for the win, so our opponents helped us even when we made mistakes, but from tomorrow onwards, we'll be strict about our mistakes, and we'll be greedy for opportunities. I want to."

As a result, the Kitami Kyokai, who had the same 7 wins and 1 loss in the men's team but won in a head-to-head match, finished 1st in the qualifying league, while SC Karuizawa Club finished 2nd.

Consadole is 3rd and TM Karuizawa is 4th, and these four teams will advance to the playoffs on the 4th.

NHK will broadcast the men's playoff match between the Kitami Association and SC Karuizawa Club on BS1 from 9:00 am, which will be the same meeting as on the 3rd.
