SVT broadcasts an important World Cup test - the opponent ready

On February 13-21, the national team gathers to prepare for this summer's WC in Australia and New Zealand.

It was already clear that the gathering would end with a match against Germany in Duisburg, but now it is clear that on February 16 they will face the World Cup team China in Marbella.

- Now the collection in February is fully planned and there will be interesting days with two important matches for us.

China is a well-organized team that has achieved strong results against good opposition in the past year, and in the match we get the opportunity to be matched against a WC-ready team from a different part of the world than Europe, says Peter Gerhardsson.

The match against China is broadcast on SVT, while TV4 broadcasts the Germany match.

In the World Cup, which begins on July 20, Sweden faces South Africa, Italy and Argentina in the group stage.
