A video clip of a goal that came in a rare and strange way, "by chance" from a player's shot, was spread on social media, in one of the amateur football leagues in Belgium last week.

The player Jens Verhelen scored the first goal for his team Avilgame in the net of his rival Reuter, after a cross shot from the right side of his team, which went towards the goal in an unexpected way.

And it appeared in the circulating video of the goal - from the fans' stands - that the player did not intend to shoot the ball towards the goal, but rather wanted to deflect it in front of one of the opposing team's players, then he shot it strong and rolled in the air, strangely changing its path towards the net.

Roberto Carlos eat your heart out!

I have no idea if he meant this but it looks amazing.

The Spanish newspaper "MARCA" described the goal as "the best cross goal in history", meaning by chance.

One of the Belgian news websites described Verhelen's goal as "universal", noting that no one expected the ball to enter the net, not even the player himself, after he appeared walking to the other side of the field after dispersing the ball, thinking that it was going outside the field, to enter the end of the shot in a way All of a sudden.

The Belgian team sang about the goal of its young player, after he achieved a wide spread around the world.

And one of the tweeters posted on Twitter a video of the goal and likened it to Roberto Carlos’s historic goal with Brazil against France, commenting, “I have no idea if he meant this, but it looks great.”
