Växjö has had a tough time away to Frölunda in recent years.

The fact is that before tonight's match, Växjö had 14 straight losses in Gothenburg.

But they made sure to break that nightmare suite tonight.

Frölunda did take the lead halfway into the second period through Patrik Carlsson, but then the visitors took over the match.

Two goals by Rieder

German star Tobias Rieder equalized just 58 seconds later and ensured that Växjö was in the lead at the start of the final act.

After further goals by Manuel Ågren and Joel Kellman, victory was at hand.

Then it didn't matter that Frölunda's Petteri Lindbohm scored a consolation in the final minutes.

With the 4-2 victory, Växjö climbs to second place in the table.
