In 2015, Sébastien Ogier lost the victory when he crashed into a barrier, in a very good position on the final stage of the Catalan World Rally Championship.

This time it went better for the Frenchman on the same stretch.

Ogier had a good starting position, a lead of 15.8 seconds before the final stretch.

The 38-year-old legend also won the final stage by six tenths ahead of Belgian Thierry Neuville.

Overall, Ogier was 16.4 seconds ahead of the Belgian and 34.5 seconds ahead of the already clear world champion Kalle Rovanperä.

- Today it was fantastic to take another victory, also because it was a good week for the team, says Ogier in the broadcast.

And concludes:

- Now it's time to celebrate.

Now there is only one competition left in this year's WC series, in Japan on November 10-13.
