In order to catch up in the fight for the SM gold, Hammarby needed a victory.

However, it was a loss against Elfsborg.

It was Alexander Bernhardsson who broke the deadlock.

The Elfsborg player was served beautifully by Sveinn Aron Gudjohnsen and finished straight at goalkeeper Oliver Dovin, before poking in his own rebound.

Shortly after, it was close to an equaliser.

Bajen's left back Mohanad Jeahze made his way down the left and sent in to Gustav Ludwigson who hit the post with a finish.

- It is a match that has swung back and forth where you have had different periods.

After Elfsborg's 1-0, Bajen took over properly and Jeahze was very driving there.

I expect a Hammarby that runs in second, said SVT Sports expert Daniel Nannskog.

Hammarby equalized early in the second half.

A beautiful attack was rounded off with a delicious cross from Gustav Ludwigson and a finish from Joel Nilsson.

The complete hit means that Nilsson has netted in four straight games.

But in the final minutes, Noah Söderberg was served by Ahmed Qasem and sent in the last goal of the match.

Thus, Elfsborg sent Hammarby away from the fight for the SM gold.

Hammarby is now third in the Allsvenskan.

Elfsborg is in sixth place.
