Caroline Hedwall thrives on Indian golf courses.

For the third time, she finishes second in the competition, which she has also won once, in 2011.

The Swede was second before the final lap of the European Tour competition but was unable to catch the German Olivia Cowan.

The bet on the final hole instead resulted in a double bogey and Hedwall finished three strokes behind Cowan on ten under par overall.

Home jumper Amandeep Drall, who led heading into Sunday, shared second place with Hedwall.

Hedwall's previous Indian Open runner-up finishes came in 2012 and 2018.
