The match started in Changping Town, Dongguan City, Guangdong Province on the 11th, attracting players from China, the United Kingdom, Japan, Thailand, Mongolia, India, Germany and other countries around the world to compete on the same stage.

  It is understood that the seven-day event is divided into three events: the World Women's Snooker Championship, the World Women's Snooker U21 Championship and the World Women's Snooker Seniors Tournament (over 40 years old).

In addition to generous tournament bonuses, the championship winner will also receive a two-year qualification for the World Snooker Tour starting from the 2024/25 season.

  This event attracted the world's number one player Nucharut Wangharuthai of Thailand, the defending champion Sripapon Nuantakanjan of Thailand, and the 12-time Women's World Championship champion England player Renee Aye Vince, Hong Kong star Ng On-yee and Bai Yulu, the runner-up of the last World Championships from Dongguan, etc.

  According to reports, in the 1980s and 1990s, Dongguan's economy took off and the billiards craze began. A group of billiards enthusiasts moved to Dongguan one after another. It also attracted Ding Junhui, Zhang Anda and other enthusiasts to come to Dongguan to study and enter the international arena.

Today, the number of billiards clubs in Dongguan has reached 500, and billiards has also become one of the competition events in the Dongguan Citizens' Games.

  In recent years, Dongguan City has accelerated the construction of a "strong sports city" and created a "Trendy Dongguan" city card. CBSA World Snooker Academy Guangdong Branch has also "settled" in Changping, and billiards in Dongguan is also heading towards a more promising future. .

This event also saw the participation of five players from local club academies in Dongguan, competing fiercely with players from all over the world.
