The Jordanian Federation decides to hold the Al-Wehdat and Al-Faisaly match without an audience

The Jordanian Football Association decided on Monday to hold the Al-Wehdat and Al-Faisaly match scheduled for Friday in the local cup competition without an audience, after the charged atmosphere that followed the matches between Al-Wehdat with Al-Hussein and Al-Faisaly with Al-Ramtha at King Abdullah II Stadium at the end of the nineteenth stage of the league.

And the official website of the Jordan Federation stated that “at the request of the security authorities, the Jordan Football Association decided to hold the Al-Wehdat and Al-Faisaly match next Friday evening at King Abdullah II Stadium, within the quarter-finals of the 2022 Jordan Cup, without the presence of an audience in order to preserve the safety of the pillars of the football system. foot.”

The Football Association’s decision comes in response to Al-Faisaly’s request in his statement issued on Sunday, out of a firm concern for the safety of the fans and the entire game system, as the safety of the Jordanian citizen outweighs all considerations, according to the club’s statement.

On Sunday evening, the Jordanian security services announced the arrest of two people who broadcast publications and videos inciting violence and hatred in football stadiums.
