Kim Joo-hyeong, who won the U.S. PGA Tour's Shrein's Children's Open and achieved two wins in two months, expressed his overwhelming joy, saying, "It's an honor and unbelievable to be compared to the Tiger Woods record. My dream has come true."

After the awards ceremony, at an official PGA Tour conference, Kim Joo-hyung was asked a question comparing him to Tiger Woods, the 'golf emperor' who had two wins before the age of 21.

When asked how he felt as a player who won twice before the age of 21 for the first time in 26 years since Woods, Joo-hyung Kim said, "I wasn't a member of the PGA Tour a few months ago, but I can't believe that I won twice and came out to the press conference and compared to Woods. It's an honor, and my dream has come true."

He continued to answer humbly, saying that comparisons with Woods are still far away.

He said, "I still have a lot to work on. I have a lot of weaknesses and a lot of things to fix. I still have a long way to go compared to Woods, Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas, etc. I will practice hard in the future."

Kim Joo-hyung said, "Before the competition, I had a cold, so the practice round was divided into 9 holes for two days. I concentrated on the course in a short time and practiced." "During the practice round, I felt that the course suited me well. I came in well, and I had a feeling that if I strategized well, I could do well this week.”

Kim Joo-hyung, who won the championship match against Patrick Cantlay of the US, who is ranked 4th in the world, said, "It felt like playing a single match at the Presidents Cup, but I worked hard to shake that thought. "I made up my mind to focus on my game plan. Regardless of winning, I focused on the shot and tried to play according to my plan. As a result, it feels really good to be able to win."

Kim Joo-hyung, who entered the PGA Tour by winning the Wyndham Championship as a temporary member in August, said, “The past two months have gone by really quickly and incredible things have happened. I participated in the Citizens Cup,” he looked back.

Kim Joo-hyung, who received congratulations from Korean players such as Im Seong-jae, Kim Si-woo, and Lee Kyung-hoon on the 18th green after finishing the winning putt, said, "I was really happy and grateful that the hyungs waited for me despite their busy schedules and celebrated the win together."
