China News Service, September 15. According to the official website of the China Volleyball Association, on September 14, Beijing time, the 2022 Asian Women's Sand Volleyball Championships opened in Roi Et, Thailand.

After two rounds of competition in the group stage, the Chinese team Zeng Jinjin/Wang Xinxin, Lin Meimei/Xia Xinyi won two consecutive victories; Yuan Luwen/Dong Jie won one and one loss.

  It is reported that the 2022 Women's Sand Volleyball Asian Championships will be held from September 14 to 17.

A total of 32 pairs participated in the competition and were divided into eight groups. The top two in each group advanced to the top 16, followed by the 1/8 finals, 1/4 finals, semi-finals and finals.

  A total of three Chinese pairs participated in the competition. Zeng Jinjin/Wang Xinxin of Group E, after passing the first round 2:0 (21:13/21:14), defeated Thailand's Suchina/Apinya 2:0 in the second round. The score for both sets was 21:13.

  Lin Meimei/Xia Xinyi were placed in Group C.

In the first round of the group stage, Lin Meimei/Xia Xinyi defeated the New Zealand team Sadlier/Dixon 2:0, with a score of 21:3 and 21:7.

In the second round, Lin Meimei/Xia Xinyi defeated the Philippine combination Rondina/Pons 2:0, with a score of 21:10 and 21:11.

  Yuan Lvwen/Dong Jie of Group D lost 1:2 to the Thai team Pat Charapong/Kidapa in the first round of the fierce battle, with the scores of 21:16, 19:21 and 10:15.

In the second round, Yuan Lvwen/Dong Jie won their first victory with a 2:0 win over a pair of Malaysians. The scores of the two games were 21:3 and 21:9.
