More than 100,000 places will be offered on the 2023 Rugby World Cup site. The question is not whether the tickets will all find takers, but rather how long they will sell out.

A single sale, open to everyone, anywhere in the world.

Tuesday, a batch of 100,000 tickets has already made a lot of people unhappy, like Pierre, who was hoping to buy tickets to follow the France team and who found himself stuck in a virtual queue.

"The hassle started because the queue was not progressing, I was barely 4% of the queue. It was unblocked an hour later, around 7 p.m., I think it's because that the places had been taken, so people disconnected”, he explains.

A ticket resale platform will be set up soon

"I took 1h30 before being able to access the ticket office and when I succeeded, nothing more, no more places available. There were only small matches left, false hopes in all directions", he breathes .

All is not totally lost for those who will not be able to obtain places this Thursday evening.

A consumer resale platform should indeed be set up in the coming months.
