8 friendlies prepare the Saudi team for the World Cup 2022
The Saudi national team announced that it will play eight friendly matches over the next two months, as part of its preparations to participate in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The Saudi team will meet its Ecuadorean counterpart on September 23, and the US team will face its American counterpart on September 27.
During the month of October, Al-Akhdar will play 3 other friendly matches, against Macedonia on the 22nd, Albania on the 26th, and Honduras on the 30th.
The Saudis will conclude the preparations with three friendly matches against Iceland, Panama and Croatia on November 6, 10 and 16, respectively.
The World Cup draw has placed the Saudi national team in a group that includes Argentina, Poland and Mexico.
