At the men's volleyball world championships held in Poland and Slovenia, Ukraine beat the Netherlands with a set count of 3-0 in the first match of the final tournament on the 5th, and decided to advance to the quarterfinals for the first time.

In response to Russia's military invasion of Ukraine, the International Volleyball Federation changed the venue from Russia to Poland and Slovenia for the world championships this time, and did not allow Russia to participate. I was given the right to participate.



Having advanced through the qualifying league with 2 wins and 1 loss, Ukraine faced the Netherlands in their first match of the finals tournament on the 5th.



Ukraine won the first set 25-16, the second 25-19, and the third 25-18 to win straight sets 3-0.



Ukraine will advance to the quarter-finals for the first time at the World Championships, and will face host country Slovenia in the quarterfinals on the 7th.
