Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) beat Juventus Turin 2-1 in Group H of the Champions League on September 6, 2022 in Paris.
The French football club dominated their Italian opponents but missed many scoring chances and let them regain their confidence in the second half.

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) began its European campaign with a precious victory against Juventus Turin on September 6, 2022 at the Parc des Princes.
A success achieved largely thanks to an excellent start to the match.
Indeed, it was better not to be late for this very first PSG-Juve in the Champions League.
In the 5th minute, with a ladle, the Brazilian Neymar serves his partner Kylian Mbappé.
The French striker, who sank into the opposing area, took the volley ball (1-0).
Then, in the 22nd, Mbappé offers himself the double, following a one-two with the Moroccan side Achraf Hakimi: 2-0.
Juventus Turin threatening, despite everything
Juventus Turin, 7th in the Italian Championship standings (Serie A), then seems to be only a shadow of itself.
But it is better to be wary of appearances.
The Parisians learn it at their expense.
In the second period, on a corner played in two stages, the Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma misses his exit.
American midfielder Weston McKennie, who came into play, jumped higher than everyone else and reduced the score with a header: 1-2, 53rd.
Donnarumma must then dismiss a ball deflected with a header by Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic (56th), as he had done in the first period against Polish striker Arkadiusz Milik (19th).
The young goalkeeper is still decisive on a cross from Serbian midfielder Filip Kostić (81st).
The Turinese are not far from the hold-up, while the champions of France multiply the failures.
In the 51st, Mbappé, gone sharply on the right, forgot Neymar, alone at the far post.
Shortly after, Mbappé crossed his shot too much, following a three-way game with Neymar and Argentinian striker Lionel Messi (64th).
Neymar (48th) and Messi (67th, 72nd) were not more successful.
In particular the Brazilian on a superb volley pushed back by the goalkeeper of the visitors, Mattia Perin (89th).
Facing a slightly more dashing Juventus, missing so many chances would probably not have forgiven…
