PSG had never won a match against Juventus Turin before this Tuesday, September 6.

Christophe Galthier and his men put an end to this curse by winning their confrontation 2 to 1, thanks in particular to a double from Kylian Mbappé.

From the kick-off, PSG set out to take control of the match.

If on the first action, Nuno Mendes, found by Neymar in the area, sees his center blocked by Bonucci (3rd), Mbappé quickly opens the scoring.

Neymar sends him a sumptuous ladle in the back of the defense that the French volleys (5th, 1-0).

Marquinhos then Messi tried the same kind of opening for the kid from Bondy behind the defense in the minutes that followed but with less success (9th, 14th).

Double from Mbappé

Juventus then react.

On a cross from Cuadrado, Milik imposes himself to place his head but Donnarumma pushes back.

Vlahovic then heels to strike and Ramos clears.

Kostic trails but his shot misses.

The Parc des Princes, so noisy with the early opener, held its breath for a moment (19th).

Mbappé will give them the opportunity to breathe.

From the right wing, Verratti serves the Frenchman who returns to Hakimi in the area.

The Moroccan crosses in one touch towards his teammate and friend.

With a volley, he doubled the bet (22nd, 2-0).

Tempers are heating up a little on the side of Juventus, which are increasing the attacks on Mbappé and Neymar.

However, despite long phases of possession, their attacks lead to nothing concrete.

And the last thrill of the half is to be credited to Neymar who collapses in the area after dribbling and favorable counters.

No penalty, slice the referee (37th).

In the second period, PSG came back very strong.

Nuno Mendes accelerates and drops Cuadrado before slipping the ball to Neymar.

The Brazilian controls and strikes but it is captured by Parin (49th).

Then Mbappé overtakes the entire defense and comes face to face with the goalkeeper.

He tries to hit in force while Neymar was unmarked at the far post (51st)

Shortly after this selfishness, Juventus reduced the score.

Paredes plays a short corner on Kostic.

The Serb crosses at the far post and the incoming McKennie benefits from a failed exit from Donnarumma to score his goal (53rd, 2-1).

The goalkeeper was however forgiven a few moments later by avoiding an equalizer (56th).

Mbappé misses the hat-trick a few moments later by crossing his shot too much (64th) while Messi misses his shot from the left after a hook (68th).

After a long passage in false-rhythm, the match accelerates again.

The Turinese benefit from more and more space to invest the opposing camp and Donnarumma once again saves his people (80th).

In the process, Mbappé still takes the defense of speed but cannot take advantage of it.

He slips this time to Verratti who makes a pass to Neymar.

The Brazilian takes his chance without success (81st).

The score remains there despite a free kick worked by Neymar who flirts with the crossbar (86th) and a volley from the Brazilian parried by Perin.

PSG can congratulate themselves: against a (former) European great, PSG obtained their first three points of the year in the Champions League and showed mastery.
