Maja Dahlqvist is in Norway competing in roller skis at the Top Sports Week.
There she won Friday's sprint and finished fifth in the ten kilometer freestyle on Saturday.
And the Swede, who has chosen to train outside the Swedish national team during the pre-season, seems to have developed a taste for more.
- It has been very good.
I want to move to Trondheim now.
I have heard so much good about the training here and have had a good experience, she tells NRK.
Dahlqvist is then asked if it is a joke or if she is serious.
- Maybe a bit of both.
It may not be that I am moving, but that I am being moved, she says.
Dahlqvist is together with the American cross-country skier Kevin Bolger.
He has spent a lot of time in Trondheim and speaks warmly of it.
- He has been here for five summers and trained and thought it was the best place to train.
And now that I've been here, I think it's been nice, says Dahlqvist.
The WC in cross-country skiing will be held in Trondheim in 2025.
