The 6th day of the badminton world championships held in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo, was held on the 27th. Among them, in the mixed doubles semi-finals, world No. 3 Watanabe and Higashino won the silver medal at the previous tournament. A pair of players played against a German pair ranked 12th in the world.



The pair of Watanabe and Higashino dominated the match from start to finish, winning the first game 21-8 and the second game 21-6, both winning straight sets with a game count of 2-0.



Watanabe and Higashino will aim to win the gold medal in the final on the 28th, becoming the first Japanese team to win a gold medal in this event.
