Peter Hanson becomes an expert in SVT: "It will be incredibly exciting"

On Friday, the Skaftö Open, part of the Ladies European Tour, started.

SVT broadcasts from the competition on Saturday and Sunday.

Peter Hanson, four-time winner on the European Tour and two-time participant in the Ryder Cup, will sit as expert commentator.

- A completely new role for me.

I am very much looking forward to it.

But I hope to contribute some wise knowledge, says Hanson.

What can we expect from you?

- There will be a lot of focus on the Swedish stars.

We have high hopes there.

The focus will be on golf and the technical parts of the game and the positive women's development we have in Swedish golf right now.

He believes in an exciting competition.

- There is a chance that we will see a Swedish winner.

Linn Grant and Maja Stark are top-ranked and have good chances.

But the course is quite clever and you will have to play well and smartly to win.
