La Zhen, director of the Lhasa Municipal Sports Bureau, introduced that the competition was hosted by the China Cycling Association, the Lhasa Municipal People's Government, and the Tibet Autonomous Region Sports Bureau, and was undertaken by the Lhasa Municipal Sports Bureau.
The event consists of three groups: road cycling men's elite group, mountain bike men's open group, and mountain bike women's open group, with a total of more than 300 participants.
The registration period for the competition ends on July 17, and all entries have been filled.
The competition route is mainly set up along the urban section of Lhasa River. The contestants will start from Dhonzhu Financial City in Lhasa City, pass through Nanhuan Road, Zangre Bridge, Binhe Road, Donghuan Road, Chinese Culture Park, Lhasa River No. 3 Dam Bridge, and finally return Dhondup Financial City, with a total distance of 72.3 kilometers.
