Sweden is the only team to have scored a goal against the USA so far in the tournament, the premiere match was lost 6-1.
Now Sweden is chasing revenge in the semifinals and national team captain Madeleine Östling has the tactics ready for her.
- We absolutely have the chance, we will play a little boring and keep them on the outside, she says.
The USA is the reigning world champion and has driven over Sweden, Canada and Finland on the way to the semifinals.
In the Swedish goal is again Lisa Jönsson who was named the match player against the Czech Republic.
- Lisa has grown during the tournament and proved to appeal to the mental pressure well, says Östling.
- Lisa is upside down and if Sweden can play disciplined and value correctly, there is a chance, says SVT expert Maria Rooth who also wants to keep the expulsions away.
- The USA has almost 50 percent dividend in pp, so again important with the discipline.
Sweden comes with two straight victories to the semis, Finland 4-3 and the Czech Republic the day before yesterday 2-1.
