  This friendly match was hosted by the Canada-China Sports Cultural Exchange Center and the North American Center of the Chinese Ice Hockey Association.

The competition was fiercely between the Toronto Future Star Junior Team composed of Chinese young players and the Toronto Maple Star Junior Team composed of non-Chinese young players.

All participating players are under 10 years old.
