Swedish ski cross star Sandra Näslund has started the World Cup season brilliantly.

She won the first three individual starts, but crashed in pursuit of the fourth straight.

It arrived in Innichen today instead.

Näslund took the start in the final and was then superior until she secured the victory in superior style, just over two seconds ahead of runner-up Fanny Smith from Switzerland.

Britanny Phelan from Canada came third.

It is noteworthy that Swedish Erik Mobärg went out in the semifinals.
