The Algerian national football team swept its host Niger 4-0 on Tuesday in the fourth round of the first group matches of the African qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The goals of the Algerian team were scored by Riyad Mahrez (20), Islam Slimani (33), Ismail bin Nasser (48) and Baghdad Bounedjah (54).

The Algerian team, which reached its 31st consecutive match without losing, raised its score to 10 points at the top of the standings, and the balance of the Niger team stopped at 3 points in third place.

In Group H, the Senegalese team reached the final stage of the African qualifiers for the World Cup Qatar 2022, after defeating its Namibian counterpart 3-1 on Tuesday in Johannesburg.

Senegal won its fourth consecutive victory to raise its lead to 12 points, and Namibia's balance stopped at 4 points in second place.

No team in the group will be able to equalize the Senegalese team's number of points, with 3 matches remaining for Congo and Togo in this stage of the qualifiers, compared to two matches for Senegal and Namibia.

In Group G, Ghana temporarily snatched the top spot after defeating hosts Zimbabwe 1-0.

Ghana owes the credit for this victory to Thomas Thie Partey, Arsenal player (31).

The win raised Ghana's lead to 9 points from 4 matches, and Zimbabwe's balance stopped at one point in last place.
