Emil Roback has just finished a gathering with the Swedish P18 national team.

Prior to that, the 18-year-old had time to play a series premiere, where he scored goals, for Milan's Primavera team, the level below the A-team and consisting of U20 players.

- My position in Milan is that I have a leadership role now in Primavera.

I did not have that last year.

I will take care of the younger ones and play as well as possible, says Roback to SVT Sport.

"The club believes in me"

The Swedish talent left Hammarby for the Milan club last year and as recently as May he extended his contract with the big team.

- I feel that the club believes in me - and I in them.

They have a good plan for me.

I will try to be as good as possible all the time.

- My chances depend entirely on how I play.

But if I continue as I started, I have a pretty good chance of fulfilling my dream, to make my Serie A debut.

"We have a good relationship"

In fact, Roback has been close.

- I have been on the Serie A bench three times.

Once you sit there in the stands and the match is about to begin, you think that it is Serie A, that it is filmed on all channels and that it is one of the world's biggest clubs.

And Zlatan, who I look up to, is there.

You get adrenaline kicks and it feels like you can go in and run as much as you like.

Although Roback plays matches with Primavera, he trains daily with the A-team.

And there he has one of his biggest idols, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, as a training partner.

- We have a good relationship.

He is there to talk to if I need tips or advice.

I can only contact him.

"His mentality is sick"

What is it like to train with the soon to be 40-year-old major player?

- I have never in my life seen anyone train so hard.

You get happy as long as you are around him, as long as you see him.

He gives his all in training.

He trains before training and after he usually stays on the field.

His mentality is sick, says Roback and bursts into a wide smile.

- To be so strong mentally, I am most impressed.

The football part, of course, he has scored sick goals and stuff on the pitch, but for me it is more the mental part that I also want.

On Sunday, Milan will face Lazio, at 18.00. It remains to be seen if Emil Roback can fulfill his dream even then.
