The UAE club Al Wahda announced the signing of international defender Mahmoud Khamis, for one season, on loan, from Al Nasr Club.

Al-Wahda introduced its new player via a video broadcast on the club's Twitter account.

In an official statement, the Al Wahda Football Company expressed its appreciation and thanks to Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan Al Maktoum, President of Al Nasr Club, for his classy dealings, his approval of loaning Mahmoud Khamis to the ranks of Al Wahda, and facilitating all procedures that reflect the strong and historical relationship between the two clubs.

The club management wished the player success in meeting the goals and aspirations of the leadership, management and fans of Al Wahda Club.

Mahmoud Khamis is considered the third deal concluded by Al Wahda Club in preparation for the new season, as he had previously contracted with the Spanish Carlos Lopez, known as Carlitos (29 years), from Legia Warsaw, Poland, and the Brazilian Jawapedro, the former Al Dhafra player, who was loaned last season to Baniyas Club.

Al Wahda is preparing to compete in the local league and the Asian Champions League, in which it will meet Sharjah in mid-September.

Al-Nasr had succeeded in extending Mahmoud Khamis' contract until the summer of 2023, to close the door in the face of many clubs wishing to obtain the player's services.

Very important announcement!
