Portuguese international Cristiano Ronaldo became the top scorer in the European Cup finals, after he scored his tenth and eleventh goals in a 3-0 victory over Hungary in Budapest on Tuesday in the opening group F competition, surpassing French Michel Platini (9).
Ronaldo also became the first player in history to participate in five editions of the continental championship, during which he scored all of them to surpass Platini, who scored his nine goals in the 1984 edition in France.
