Sweden lost the World Cup semi-final against Norway 7-6 yesterday.

The Swedes, who are represented by Almida de Val and Oskar Eriksson, instead had to aim for today's bronze match against Canada.

Things went better there.

Sweden grabbed the baton immediately and led 4-1 when half the match had been played.

Canada could never threaten and Sweden won the World Cup bronze after a 7-4 victory.
