Mike Modano made 22 seasons in the NHL and won the Stanley Cup with the Dallas Stars, among others.

But for the younger audience today, he is more recognized for a scene in the movie "Mighty Ducks" from 1992. The opportunity to appear in the film arose during an NHL strike.

- We had been on strike for maybe seven or eight days.

Then Basil (McRae) and I had a conversation about filming.

They wondered if we could come there one day and film this scene.

Basil was great, and we had a lot of fun.

As I said, the effort has left its mark.

- We are still teased for that, 30 years later.

Many young people today recognize me more from the Mighty Ducks than from ice hockey.

A strange scenario.

In SVT Sport's new interview series "Hall of Fame", six international ice hockey legends remember their careers.

The entire episode with Mike Modano can be seen here on SVT Play, where he also talks about which opponents were the worst to meet on the ice.
