American gymnastics star Simon Biles returned to the competitions on Saturday by implementing an unprecedented movement in the history of women's competition on a horse jumping, to confirm her full readiness for the Tokyo Olympics, which begins after two months.

Biles, who won five Olympic golds in Rio 2016, has not participated in official competitions since winning five golds in the World Gymnastics Championships in 2019. But she made a breakthrough movement unprecedented in the history of competitions on a jumping horse called "Yurchenko Double Pike", at the Indianapolis meeting in United States Saturday.
The movement includes entering my side to the jumping platform and placing the hands from the back side on the jumping horse before making two back jumps, which has never happened before in the women's competitions, where the movement is very difficult due to the strength, height and high technology that it requires, as any landing is wrong. It may lead to severe back injuries.
Biles (24) moved so energetically that she overdrew a little and took a step back when landing.
