Here are Sweden's team captains before the Hockey World Cup

Anahaeim's Rickard Rakell was Sweden's best scorer when it became World Cup gold 2018 - now he also gets a greater importance in Tre Kronor's squad.

- After a tough season, it feels fun to have the honor of representing Sweden.

I look forward to playing more hockey, now that the season was so short, Rakell told SVT Sport when it was announced that he was ready for the World Cup.

But it is not only Tömmernes and Rakell who will lead the players on the ice, but Klas Dahlbeck will also have a leadership role.

With Henrik Tömmernes at the helm, both Rakell and Dahlbeck will be assistant team captains.
