Colombia will allow 30 percent of the stadium capacity

The Colombian Minister of Sports revealed that his country, which is one of two countries, in addition to Argentina, which will host the South American Football Cup (Copa America), will allow an audience of 30 percent of the stadiums capacity due to the repercussions of the Corona virus.

"There is no point in establishing a Cuba America without an audience. We are in the process of working on the health protocol to allow 30 percent of the stadium capacity," Ernesto Lucena told Radio "Caracol".

This percentage may increase if the Columbia Plan proceeds with the vaccination according to the program set for it and if the infection rate decreases.

To date, 149,000 people have received the vaccine, out of a population of 35 million that is the population of Colombia.

The Copa America, which was postponed last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, will be held from June 11 to July 10, and it is the first time that it is held in two countries.

Sports stadiums in Colombia have been closed to the public since last March.
