There was once again an extension between Växjö and Djurgården in the second meeting between the teams in two days.

The difference this time was that Växjö won.

58 seconds into extra time, Växjöbacken slipped in over the offensive blue line and fired a rock-hard shot, without a chance for Djurgårds goalkeeper Niklas Svedberg.

Afterwards, he said that he had been ordered to fire his teammate Teemu Eronen.

- Eronen shouted a couple of things in Finnish, and then I thought I would do what he says, Ilari Melart says to C More.

C More: What was he shouting?

- He shouted to take it all the way and shoot, laughs Melart.

SHL's most dangerous back

Melart's cannon gave two points to Växjö and a total of three points in two matches against Djurgården.

- Three points is okay against a good team.

But sometimes it does not always go the way you want, says Ilari Melart to C More.

The goal was Melart's ninth of the season and thus he is the top scorer among the defenders in the SHL.
