Shirokov was sentenced by the Magistrates' Court of the Sokolniki District of Moscow to 100 hours of compulsory labor for beating an arbitrator.
On August 10, the ex-footballer of the Russian national team attacked the referee in a match of amateur teams.
First, Shirokov hit Danchenkov in the face for the red card shown to him, after which he tried to finish off the fallen judge with his feet.
Earlier, Danchenkov's side said that it was satisfied with the actions of the prosecutor in the Shirokov case.
