The Red Bull team,
second in the constructors' championship
, announced this Friday the signing of Mexican Sergio Pérez - fourth in the Formula One World Championship that concluded last Sunday - for 2021, a season in which he will partner with the Dutch Max Verstappen.
'Checo', born 30 years ago in
Guadalajara (Jalisco)
and an F1 driver since 2011, achieved this year, by scoring the second of the two races held in Sakhir (Bahrain), his first victory in the premier class, in which counts 10 podiums.
The brave driver finished fourth, with 125 points and aboard Racing Point -formerly Force India, the team with which he completed his seventh season;
and that next year it will be called Aston Martin- the last World Cup without knowing yet if it would have to take a sabbatical, but this Friday it is already official that it will continue, at least one more year in the division of honor in motorsports.
Pérez will be a partner of Verstappen, third in the last contest, which was won - for the seventh time - by Englishman Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes).

the Dutchman's teammate in the World Championship just ended, who finished seventh - with twenty points less than 'Czech' - will be a tester and reserve driver at Red Bull, according to the Austrian team on Friday in a statement.
