Saudi President Al-Nasr criticizes the players for poor results

Safwan Al-Swaiket, president of Al-Nasr Saudi Football Club, criticized the team's players, after the modest level that the team showed at the beginning of this season.

Al-Nassr has lost six out of eight matches he has played, as it is ranked fifteenth (before last) in the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Cup League (Saudi Professional League) standings.

The Saudi Al-Riyadiah newspaper reported today, Tuesday, that Al-Suwaiket held a lengthy meeting with the players on Monday evening on the sidelines of the team’s training, where he strongly criticized them and held them responsible for the team’s results so far.

The newspaper added that Al-Suwaiket asked his players not to make excuses or accuse the coach of the team, explaining that victory will not stop the players or the club president.

The newspaper added that Al-Suwaiket told the players that any player who does not want to play for the team must inform the club's management

Al-Suwaiket asked his team's players to erase the modest image they showed during the past matches, in which they lost a large number of points in the Mohammed Bin Salman Professional Cup League.

Safwan Al-Suwaiket promised the team's players that they would be paid their back wages within the next few days.

Al-Nasr is preparing for its first match in the current season's Cup of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, tomorrow, Wednesday.
