"Federation captain Janne Andersson has been in home quarantine since the end of last week since a close family member tested positive for covid-19. Janne Andersson was tested again on Tuesday and today came the news that the test was positive," the union writes in a statement.

- Janne is feeling relatively well, continues to isolate himself at home, but will not be able to join this collection, says national team doctor Anders Valentin in a statement.

On Sunday, the association announced that Janne Andersson was quarantined when a close family member tested positive and that he would thus miss Wednesday's training match against Denmark, where the team is led by the assistant national team captain Peter Wettergren.

Sweden will face Croatia on Saturday and France on Tuesday in the final Nations League matches.

Janne Andersson also misses those matches.
