It was on Monday that ski star Charlotte Kalla got symptoms of covid-19 with a headache and fever.

The 33-year-old was immediately isolated while waiting for the test result.

Today came the answer: It is positive.

- I feel better today and am still optimistic about a quick recovery.

I have regular contact with "Pliggen" which is a great support and I follow the protocols that the union and the team have set up for this, says Kalla in a press release.

Earlier today, the national team doctor Per "Pliggen" Andersson told SVT Sport that he did not count on Kalla in the Swedish premiere in Bruksvallarna next weekend.

- Right now we follow the process day by day and then we make the medical decisions that are appropriate when the time is right.

But it is clear that the probability is low.

SVT broadcasts the premiere in Bruksvallarna 20-22 November - this is how the Winter Studio airs the 2020/2021 season.
