The Italian Federation isolates the youth team due to Corona

The Italian Football Federation announced today that the under-21 youth team has been undergoing health isolation in its camp, after tests revealed that two players had been infected with the new Corona virus (Covid-19).

And Italian media reported that the two players, who were diagnosed with the infection during Camp Terrena near the Italian city of Pisa, had no symptoms.

The Italian youth team will be a guest of its Icelandic counterpart tomorrow, Friday, and will host next Tuesday in Pisa as part of the European Under-21 Championship qualifiers.

On the other hand, media reported on health authorities in Turin that seven of the Juventus players left the club-owned "J-Hotel", in which the team has been isolated since last Saturday, after two cases of corona were detected among the club's employees.

It is reported that Cristiano Ronaldo, Rodrigo Pentacor, Juan Cuadrado, Paulo Dybala and Danilo have joined the national teams, and Gianluigi Buffon and Meri Demiral left the hotel and headed to their residence.

The departure of the players may constitute a violation of the Italian Federation's safety protocol and health laws.

As for Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini, they stayed at the hotel and were training near it, despite being called up by Roberto Mancini, the Italian coach, for a friendly match and two other matches in the European Nations League in the coming days.
