The Hong Kong Federation of Educators, together with the Hong Kong China Tourism Association and many other organizations, jointly launched the "Hong Kong Youth Inspection and Exchange Service Standards in the Mainland" (referred to as the "Standards"), hoping that schools will have a reference basis when arranging relevant activities.

  It is understood that the standards were jointly drafted by the Hong Kong Federation of Educators, the Hong Kong China Travel Association, Hong Kong China Travel Service, Huashang Education Group and HKGO (Hong Kong Shopping Platform) and other organizations, aiming to better promote Hong Kong youth's inspection and exchange in the mainland and standardize their research. Travel service standards help the healthy development of the industry.

  When the reporter looked through the standards, he found that they stipulated in detail the organizational procedures and operating specifications during the inspection and exchange activities, and clarified the requirements for activity planning, safety guarantees, catering and accommodation, transportation arrangements, etc. For example, the tour guides responsible for inspection and exchange reception are required to be able to Fluently speak Mandarin, Cantonese and English; the team leader should actively guide Hong Kong youths to understand the national conditions during the service process; the team leader should treat every student equally and allow the students to have happy and meaningful exchanges, etc.

  At the press conference, Wong Kam-leung, Chairman of the Hong Kong Federation of Educators, introduced the key points of the standards in detail.

He said that with the establishment of this standard, schools can require service providers to prepare tender contents in accordance with regulations. This standard will play a role in improving the quality and efficiency of Hong Kong youth inspection and exchange activities in the mainland.

  Chen Ruidong, director of the Tourism Industry Committee of the Hong Kong Chinese Enterprises Association, introduced a number of mainland study routes.

He mentioned that by participating in inspection and exchange activities in the mainland, Hong Kong teenagers have experienced the rapid development of the motherland at close range, enhanced their sense of national pride in being united with the motherland, and have forged deep friendships with the majority of teenagers in the mainland.
