Shock in Barcelona and great disappointment for Koeman after the summer transfer market closes

Barcelona, especially the new Dutch coach Ronald Koeman, received a big shock after the closing of the summer transfer market in Europe yesterday without the club completing important deals that Koeman desperately wanted, especially Man City defender Eric Garcia, as well as the Dutch striker in Lyon, France, Memphis Depay.

This is in addition to the club’s failure to get rid of the burden of Frenchman Ousmane Dembele’s deal to Man United.

The newspaper "AS" said that the club's management is shocked, along with the fans of the team, especially coach Koeman, who said a few days ago that he was deeply impressed by Garcia's defensive capabilities and wished for his arrival, and that he pressed hard on the club management to sign his compatriot Depay, but nothing of that happened.

Barcelona had failed to make a good offer for Lyon to contract with Depay, as the French club requested about 50 million euros, while Barcelona offered 30 million, and the same was almost the same in Garcia's deal, as he did not provide a convincing number for Man City's management.

While in Dembley's file, the latter strongly refused, hours before the market closed, to move to Man United, despite the latter's good offer that approached 100 million euros.
