The British newspaper "The Sun" reported that the La Liga giant, seeking to strengthen the team with new elements in preparation for the next season, is closely following Martinelli, whose contract with the "Artillery" expires in 2027.

The newspaper added that Martinelli is on a shortlist of 3 players that the Blaugrana plans to move for in the coming period, and they are:
Egyptian star Mohamed Salah (31 years old), whose contract with Liverpool expires in the summer of 2025.
Georgian winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (23 years old), whose contract with Italian club Napoli expires in 2027.
Japanese Kaoru Mitoma, Brighton player, has a contract extending until 2027.
