Växjö started strongly. Already in the fourth minute, they took the lead when Nellie Karlsson got on a perfect finish and put the ball just below the crossbar to 1-0.

In the 30th minute, however, the American new acquisition Elizabeth Eddy was able to put 1-1 for Vittsjö when she had to stand completely free in the goal area and roll the ball.

And just two minutes later, after real carelessness in the defense, Växjö scored an own goal when Jennie Nordin got the ball on her foot and happened to put it in goal. A headless side pass to the wrong address embedded for the goal.

A lead-heavy location for Växjö. And it would get heavier.

In the 78th minute, Emily Gielnik once again showed how important she is for Vittsjö when she scored for the third match in a row and shot the final score 3-1.

The ball went to unmarked Gielnik in the penalty area and she determined the final result distinctly.
